Getting all the historical data, treating missing values, and bringing them into shape is a very hard and annoying task. Especially when you want non-trivial data like Google Trends, you need proxy rotation to gather this special type of data, which requires weeks to implement properly before you can even test if this data is worth the effort. It’s even worse for live predictions. Furthermore, the process of preparing data, creating features, setting targets, and setting lags is also the most prone to errors, often leading to look-ahead bias or data leakage. After mining and preparing the data and targets, we have the next problem: the vast amount of potential AI models (tree-based, ARIMA-family, LSTMs, GARCH, ensembles, stacking, bagging, and more machine and deep learning frameworks) to predict the many different targets (15 minutes, next day close, next day volatility, next day market regimes, next day up or down, etc.). Therefore, we need to adjust the model's feature importance, cross-validation, and structure based on the specific targets or underlying asset. A small team could never test all those possibilities in a short amount of time to find the most promising solutions and adapt it to the different targets and assets. #### Solution/Idea: Crypticorn has already mined a lot of data and will continue to gather and collect more, especially special data that is not easily available and requires a lot of effort to obtain Furthermore, we use paid API sources that a single person or a small group might not want to pay for. Therefore, we could make this data available to everyone, including those who are familiar with AI models for time series prediction and classification tasks. We would obfuscate the feature names and target names to prevent look-ahead bias, bias in general, an understanding of the underlying asset, and more (see example below).

Crypticorn would then standardize this dataset, split it into a test and training dataset, and only distribute the X\_train, Y\_train, and X\_test. We would not give out the y\_test data set. Anyone who desires to participate in this challenge can attempt to train AI models using this data, generate predictions for the X\_test, and then forward these predictions to our API for data evaluation. If the creator's models continue to perform exceptionally well under real-world conditions, they can submit them to Crypticorn for access, profit-sharing, AIC rewards, and other rewards based on those evaluation results.

Those predictions won’t be used directly. Crypticorn will combine all these models to form an ensemble that is suitable for various targets and assets. This trading bot utilizes the Crypticorn data pipeline, predictions, and trade execution systems. This makes it easy for the developers to create strategies and then allow them to trade. Crypticorn will test and evaluate these trading strategies before token holders can select them and allocate funds to make them. This gives all Crypticorn token holders access to a wider range of strategies. The performance fee model also accounts for these bots, and the developer decides on the height of the performance fees from the user. Depending on the trading strategy's complexity and resource usage, the developer earns B% of the performance fees, while the remaining A% of the performance fees go to Crypticorn for the use of our technology and trade execution.

### Introduction Trading isn’t easy. The financial markets don’t create money, they transfer money. They transfer money from losers to winners. With the help of Crypticorn’s AI you can greatly improve your results. The price, trend, etc. predictions are the most advanced and real AI based indicators out there. An SMA, or an EMA are calculated on the past and are very simple. Our AI is based on more than 50 technical indicators, chart patterns, support and resistance, economic news (job numbers, inflation numbers, etc.), google trends, and many more sources. All these sources lead to our AI’s predictions for prices including the probability areas. This tool will help every trader to become more profitable and to make and monitor trades much easier and quicker.

### Trading General Don’t get fooled by shitfluencers and scammers. The profits shown on social media are 99.99% faked and not true to lure you into some not working signal groups (even tho posting 95%+ win rates), super expensive trading masterclasses (the information for these is freely available on Youtube, books and blogs lol), or some totally overfitted trading indicators or bots. There are many ways to make trading work. The two most important things you need to understand are: * Win rate (percentage of winning trades from all trades done) * Reward Ratio (the relationship between the risk and the reward, or the stop loss and your take profit) Did you know that you can be a successful trader with a win rate of less than 30%? No, well the maths behind it is easy. I think you can figure this out yourself, but let’s move on how to use these two metrics for trading the dashboard. First, even with a win rate of 50% you can be long-term profitable. The key is the right risk-reward-ratio (RR). Try to have a RR of bigger than 1:1.2. This would mean: * Stop loss of -1% * Take profit of +1.2% If you only win 50% of your trades, you will make a 0.2% of profit every two trades. Now, all you need to do is to do as many trades as possible to make the most return. So, try to aim for bigger RR. Personally, I use an RR of 1:1.35 and bigger. How much should you put into a trade? Well, the rule of thumb says don’t use more than 1 to 5% of your total funds per trade. We are going to extend this short introduction very soon with more blog posts and examples! ### Important Notice We already stated the reality of financial markets, where the losers pay the winners. If you don’t have time all day to trade or monitor your trade, you might be better of with our automated trading bots. For you to win, others must lose. And the more time you spend on learning to trade the more likely you’ll win. It’s the same with sports. You can’t expect to be a very good player and beat 80% of the others after one weekend of training and trying. This is clearly not possible. But still people think that in trading, the hardest tournament, it’s easily possible to do so. Don’t worry, our experienced team will take care of that with our superior fully automated AI trading bots. ### Members Results Many of our members are already very profitable with the usage of our AI. In the videos below I am explaining how I use it. This worked very well for me, and I achieved a win rate of about 86% and an PnL ratio of 1.7 over 90 days (77 days trading). Nevertheless, you can at any time just go to BSCScan (see links below) and interact with the smart contract directly without the need to use the Crypticorn UI. So, in case the UI isn’t working for you, it’s offline, there is an error you can always go to BSCScan and do the exact same actions on-chain. Crypticorn’s UI is just easier and nicer to use. {% endhint %} ## Staking contracts Crypticorn will offer two different staking contracts. * Only staking, NO utility usage (integrated into our dashboard): * Staking AND utility usage (integrated into our dashboard): ### Why are there two different staking contracts? The majority of people will use the AI Trading Agents. For these you need to stake your AIC tokens first and then after one month or one quarter we are checking how much profit they made you so you can pay your AIC tokens. The AIC tokens are paid directly from the staking contract once you want to withdraw your AIC tokens. That means, the withdrawal and approval process of your AIC tokens could a little bit more time, as our back-end code first needs to check for the fees you need to pay in AIC tokens. The fees are then deducted from your balance, and you receive the remaining AIC tokens plus your staking reward. > Staking CA for utility usage: Some people really don’t want to use the utility and just want to get AIC token rewards and profit from others that use the utility. For these people we have another very simple staking contract with no special functions like the first one. You can stake and withdraw your AIC tokens at any time – but you won’t be able to use the utility of Crypticorn. If you want to use the utility of Crypticorn you’d need to withdraw your tokens and put them into the other staking contracts that allow you to access our tools or pay for the services. > Staking CA for NO utility usage: It’s up to you to decide what you want to do. You have the choice. ### Usage 1: dApp Dashboard The usage of the staking is pretty simple and is required to use the AI Trading Agents or pay for a monthly subscription in AIC tokens. Steps: 1. Connect your wallet to the account where you hold your AIC tokens on the BNB-chain and verify your wallet. 2. Select the pool you want to stake your AIC in. There are three different pools with different lock periods and APY. 3. Enter the amount of AIC tokens you want to stake. 4. Hit the “Stake AIC”-button and approve inside your hot wallet like MetaMask. For unstaking your tokens you have to follow the same steps and select withdraw.

# HyperLiquid API Keys and Funds Deposit Generate API keys for HyperLiquid futures perp DEX (decentralised exchange without KYC) and how to deposit USDC. {% hint style="warning" %} Not needed as of now! {% endhint %} Before creating your exchange APIs, make sure you have funds in your wallet. This is required to successfully generate your API keys on the exchange. {% hint style="info" %} HyperLiquid needs USDC on ARB (Arbitrum). More info below {% endhint %} ### Connect to HyperLiquid with your Wallet and how to deposit USDC #### Hot Wallet - EVM compatible * An EVM wallet * If you don’t already have an EVM wallet (e.g., Rabby, MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet), you can set one up easily at . * After downloading a wallet extension for your browser, create a new wallet. Your wallet has a secret recovery phrase – anyone with access to your password or seed phrase can access your funds. Do not share your private key with anyone. Best practice is to record your seed phrase and store it in a safe physical location. #### Collateral, Funds 1. USDC and ETH (gas to deposit) on Arbitrum, or 2. BTC on Bitcoin, ETH on Ethereum, or SOL or FARTCOIN on Solana, which can be traded for USDC on the Hyperliquid order books #### Step 1: Setting Up a Wallet First and foremost, you’ll need a Web3 wallet compatible with the Arbitrum network. One of the most popular choices is MetaMask. Head over to the MetaMask website and download their wallet extension for your browser. MetaMask supports all EVM-compatible blockchains, and adding Arbitrum is simple using its network details. Open your wallet and add Arbitrum to MetaMask.
#### Step 2: Transfer funds: CEX ETH on ARB and swap for USDC The next step is transferring $ETH. For example, transfer $100 worth of ETH using the exchange, which supports the Arbitrum (ARB) network. Open your MetaMask wallet and copy the Arbitrum network receiving address. Why?: * Arbitrum transactions require ETH (on ARB) for gas fees (typically just a few cents). * The remaining ETH (on ARB) will be swapped for USDC (on ARB) later. * E.g. Blofin supports the Arbitrum (ARB) network, which is crucial for this transfer. Now, use MetaMask’s Swap feature to exchange ETH for USDC. Leave a small amount in ETH for gas fees, and swap the rest for USDC, which will be used for trading on Hyperliquid.

With funds ready, visit [Hyperliquid](https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/join/STARTTRADING) and connect your MetaMask wallet by clicking the “Connect” button in the top-right corner of the app.
2. A list of wallets will appear; select “MetaMask” or the wallet you used.
3. This will open the MetaMask Wallet extension. Click “Connect” to link MetaMask to HyperLiquid.
4. To start trading, click the “Enable Trading” button.
5. A pop-up will appear; click “Establish Connection”.
6. Then click on “Confirm” on the MetaMask extension to provide your signature. This enables Hyperliquid to access your MetaMask funds for transactions.

This approval allows Hyperliquid to access funds whenever you trade. {% endhint %} #### Step 4: Deposit USDC to HyperLiquid 1. Finally, click the “Deposit” button in the top-right corner.
2. A deposit pop-up will appear. Enter the amount of USDC you wish to transfer from your MetaMask wallet to Hyperliquid.
3. The MetaMask extension will pop up—click “Confirm”, and the funds will be deposited into your Hyperliquid account.

You can use any language or framework that you like. > Before you can download data you need to initialize a model. You can either do this in the dashboard or [directly with the python client](https://app.crypticorn.dev/developer/docs/crypticorn.html#Crypticorn.create_model). This process is mainly referred to as ***creating a model***. You create a model for a specific `coin` and `target` right from the beginning. Don't make the decision to complicated what to choose for these parameters. If you want to train your model on different coin or target, simply create a new model. To get an overview about available options to choose from you can use the [python client](https://app.crypticorn.dev/developer/docs/crypticorn.html#Crypticorn.data_info) ### Data Crypticorns's free datasets are made of multiple data sources, ranging from sentiment, news, OHLCV, Google Trends to several indicators. The dataset is ***obfuscated*** so that it can be given out for free and modeled without any financial domain knowledge. This also means that models you build on this data can only be used with Crypticorn's data. > Features are quantitative attributes known about a cryptocurrency at a time (e.g Open Price, SMA, search volume, etc.). Targets are measures of a cryptocurrency at a time that are to be predicted (e.g. the exact price). The data consists of multiple datasets for a range of coins. The datasets for each coin are split into `X` and `y` sets, `X` containing the `features`, `y` the `target`. The rows represent the value for each feature or target at a specific time. You will receive three files on download: `X_train`, `X_test` and `y_train` (under path e.g. *v1.0/coin\_1/* in your environment) You can download different sizes for the feature datasets, to match the needs for your development workflow. You might want to start with downloading the smallest feature set and finetune your model with bigger feature sets later on. Once you have your first prediction ready you can start evaluating you model by submitting your prediction to our backend and receive a evaluation. This step can only be done with the [python client](https://app.crypticorn.dev/developer/docs/crypticorn.html#Crypticorn.evaluate_model). The backend will return a response containing standard machine learning metrics depending on the target type (binary or continuous). The response also includes a naive and a random benchmark for each metric, which your model should outperform. The metrics used for the leaderboard ranking are the row-wise correlation (`CORR`) for continuous targets and the accuracy score (`ACS`) for binary targets. Both these values are own computations. ### Model Upload // WORK IN PROGRESS Well performing models will be available for submission and admitted to Hive AI ### Leaderboard The leaderboard categorizes the models by target type and ranks the models by the latest evaluation score of `CORR` or `ACS`. This trading bot utilizes the Crypticorn data pipeline, predictions, and trade execution systems. This makes it easy for the developers to create strategies and then allow them to trade. Crypticorn will test and evaluate these trading strategies before token holders can select them and allocate funds to make them. This gives all Crypticorn token holders access to a wider range of strategies. The performance fee model also accounts for these bots, and the developer decides on the height of the performance fees from the user. Depending on the trading strategy's complexity and resource usage, the developer earns B% of the performance fees, while the remaining A% of the performance fees go to Crypticorn for the use of our technology and trade execution. # Positions: Long and Short Trading Basics Usually you can only buy or sell your position to make a profit. In addition, there are two options to go long or short. Both of these possibilities can be used with additional leverage to increase your profits. ### Long position Long Position is created when you buy ("Enters Long") a security with the expectation that it will rise in value to sell ("Exit Long") it later. ### Short position Short Position is created when you sell ("Enter Short") a security first with the intention of repurchasing it at a lower price later on, i.e. to buy it back ("Exit Short"). Thus it is also possible to make a profit not only with rising but also with falling exchange rates. # Order Types: Market, Limit, ... Explanation of the various Orders The most common types of orders are **market orders**, **limit orders**, and **stop-loss orders**. ### **Market Order** A market order is an order to buy or sell a security, asset or cryptocurrency immediately. This type of order guarantees that the order will be executed, but does not guarantee the execution price. A market order generally will execute at or near the current bid (for a sell order) or ask (for a buy order) price. However, it is important for you as an investor or trader to remember that the last-traded price is not necessarily the price at which a market order will be executed. ### **Limit Order** A limit order is an order to buy or sell a security, asset or cryptocurrency at a specific price or better. A buy limit order can only be executed at the limit price or lower, and a sell limit order can only be executed at the limit price or higher. Example: You want to purchase shares of ABC stock for no more than $10. You could submit a limit order for this amount and this order will only execute if the price of ABC stock is $10 or lower. ### **Stop Order or Stop-Loss Order** A stop order, also referred to as a stop-loss order is an order to buy or sell a stock, asset or cryptocurrency once the price of the stock reaches the specified price, known as the stop price. When the stop price is reached, a stop order becomes a market order. ### **Buy Stop Order** A buy stop order is entered at a stop price above the current market price. Investors or Traders generally use a buy stop order to limit a loss or protect a profit on a stock, asset or cryptocurrency that they have sold short.
